FOOTBALL!!!

Today is game day in Laramie. A day where hundreds of college students pump up for an exciting game against a worthy opponent. Colors of gold and brown fill the stadium by paint and t-shirts. Booze sneak their way into the stadium to help bring the excitement of the game to the fans.

The UNLV v. Wyoming game should be a great game. But let's face it, does Wyoming have the will power to win this game? When we played Weber State we held up to win but not to the extent that we should have. We played a great game against Texas in the first half but lost motivation throughout the second. And no one wants to talk about the Colorado game; such a disappointment.

Nonetheless, this will be exciting. Parents will feel the excitement of the game as drunkards and sobers come together to cheer on Poke Pride. It will be a moment to remember whether we win or lose.

So let's go Wyoming!!! Let's bring the house down. Let's rock the roof off. Let's blow their socks off. I want to hear the loud chants of the fans. Let's live this moment forever.

GO POKES!!!

Dumb Boys

Two words: Dumb Boys.

They tick me off! Nothing more makes me want to scream and pull my hair out. And unfortunately I am terrible and hiding my emotions. I need to get them under control.

What makes me say this? I am working with these guys on a project and one of them could not find the right drill bit to drill a circular hole. That was yesterday. Today, I went in and with a little assistance I found the right bit and drilled a hole. It was very easy. All he did was complain that the shop was very unorganized and that it was a piece of crap.

Now I am trying to control my feeling because I know that I cannot go around expressing them like whoa.

My Pal!!!

This blog is dedicated to my life long friend Nikki.

She and I have known each other since the beginning of our birth. Sadly, we were split apart at birth and did not see each other for 8 years.

However, we did keep in contact. I cannot tell you how many emails, text messages, and facebook messages we have sent between each other. We have laughed and cried and giggled and amazed ourselves with what we have to say.

We are more alike than any one I know. We share the same interests and hobbys and we even talk similarly. It's INSANE!!!

Nevertheless, she is my best, oldest, weirdest, greatest friend. Oh, and she also has a blog in which she is a follower of so everyone should check her out!

My Bad!!!

Sorry for taking so long to put up a new post. Meanwhile, here is a new one.

I must say, I love my floor; especially the people on the same side as me. The people are fun to hang out with and we all have a lot in common. And by common I mean that we all shared the same cold together in a span of about 2 weeks. That was fun. I got the cold the worst but nonetheless.

This past weekend was fun. I spent some quality time with my friend from Minnisota. We have known eachother for about 3 weeks but it seems like we have known eachother for 30 years. We raded the town on Friday night and panted the town colors while trying to avoid being attacked by drunk or creepy people.

New York owned football on Sunday and the Bills have a good chance to beat the Patriots tonight on Monday night football. GO BILLS!!! Broncos had a miricle play in the last minute of the game that was the only interesting minute of the game. Packers also had a great game last night that my friend and I spent in her boyfriends room on our floor.

Lastly, I want to point out how seperated insaters are compared to out-of-staters. It's funny yet common. I was talking to my friend from Casper who went to school in Texas before the Texas vs. Wyoming football game on Saturday and she saw the same thing in Texas. Her best friend was a girl from South Dakota. The psychology of the whole thing is just plain out fasinating.

Funny Story

So...funny story.

I was coming home from my day of classes and engineering meetings when I saw one of my friends sitting alone in one of our floor "classrooms." I entered the room and listened intimately as he talked about his bad week and rough time of his life. Soon after we had begun talking, one of our floor friends entered the room as well only to complain of a judgmental friend and vacuuming her messy room.

Long story short (this is the funny part of the story), us three decided to make my girlfriend's lofted bed lower so she wasn't so close to the ceiling. Well, here we are, three weak college students trying and trying to unhook the loft kit. We grunted and struggled and moved things and complained and laughed that we couldn't make the bed move.

Eventually, my girlfriend and I went to the boy's side of our floor and found four very promising guys to help us with the bed. A half hour and a small hammer later we ended up lowering my friend's bed. But it didn't come so easy. The bed frame threatened to break apart on us several times and many of the guys almost wet their pants as a result.

Oh, and might I mention, these same guys were the same guys who helped fixed our window in our room when the top frame fell down and stuck itself in an awkward position. We have a lot to be thankful for these boys. :)

That was my funniness of the day. I must tell you, spending awkward moments with friends is the best time to spend with the ones you like. It brings you closer together and less afraid of your surroundings. This was a great way to spend my evening.
